End of Life Doula

SUPPORTING THE SACRED PASSAGE

A woman in white dress walks through a desert

For five years, I’ve served as an End-of-Life Doula, supporting individuals and families as they navigate the most profound threshold of all—death itself.

Whether you’re facing your own mortality or supporting a loved one through their final transition, I provide compassionate, non-medical support that honors the sacred nature of dying.

Death is not failure. Death is threshold.

And like all thresholds, it deserves to be witnessed with presence, not avoided with fear. My work is to help people die well—with dignity, peace, and surrounded by love—and to help families witness this passage without being consumed by terror and grief.

“Our grief is a holy thing. It is that proof that another life touched ours in a profound way. It is the mark of love, the mark of connection, and the mark of a life well lived.”

WHY DEATH WORK INFORMS MY THRESHOLD WORK

Sitting with the dying has taught me everything I need to know about guiding people through emotional deaths—divorce, identity loss, life transitions.
Both require:

Presence without fixing
Trust in a process you cannot control
Willingness to sit with what’s uncomfortable
Surrender to what wants to die
Faith in what cannot yet be seen

Physical death and emotional death are both sacred passages. Both are thresholds that require a guide who isn’t afraid of the dark.
The dying have been my greatest teachers. They’ve shown me that death—whether physical or emotional—is not the end of the story. It’s a threshold to something else.
This is why I can hold space for your falling apart without trying to fix it. This is why I trust the process of death and rebirth. This is why I know that endings contain the seeds of new beginnings.

WHO THIS WORK SERVES

For individuals facing terminal illness:
Someone to help you process what’s happening, explore your fears, clarify what matters most, and prepare for your final passage with intention and peace.

For families supporting a dying loved one:
Guidance on what to expect, how to be present, what to say, how to create sacred space, and how to witness death without being overwhelmed.

For anyone wanting to explore their relationship with mortality:
Even if death isn’t imminent, contemplating our mortality can profoundly change how we live..

A NOTE ABOUT DEATH

We live in a culture that treats death as something to hide from, fight against, fear. But death is the most natural thing in the world. It’s a threshold we all must cross.

My work is to help you meet death with presence instead of panic. With reverence instead of resistance. With the knowledge that you’re not alone.

Whether the death is physical or emotional, I can help you cross the threshold.
.

“May the nourishment of the earth be yours,
May the clarity of light be yours,
May the fluency of the ocean be yours,
May the protection of the ancestors be yours.
And so may a slow
Wind work these words
Of love around you,
An invisible cloak
To mind your life…”
